Living a Wildlife

‘Living a WILDlife’ is an ecological live-work scheme in Southwark, London, reimagining urban living as a symbiotic relationship between humans and nature. It transforms a neglected site into a biodiverse enclave of housing and workshops, fostering sustainable lifestyles and community engagement. In a post-COVID-19 world, where the pandemic underscored humanity’s disconnection from nature and reignited the desire for access to green spaces, the project offers a vision of urban resilience. It envisions a constructed landscape where biodiversity thrives, blending the sounds of birdsong with urban life. This oasis becomes a hub for creativity, enabling residents to live harmoniously with their environment while shaping a sustainable future through in-house workshops.
