Safe Haven is a lively accommodation and training academy for the homeless community of Shoreditch, London.  The scheme elevates the spirits of its residents by horticulture therapy and gardening, whose produce is sold to the local residents in a proposed market space.

 

Located in a site with barren soil, the proposed architecture is a structure of the modular timber framework that allows elements from garden modules to walls, roofs, floors to slot into the building, transforming the entire building into an affordable urban oasis in the city. ​​
