V&A Mosque Pavillion

The 2023 "Evolution of the British Mosque" exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, designed by MakeSpace Architects in collaboration with ARUP and University of Westminster students, explores the diverse ways in which British mosques have been built by local communities. The design incorporates architectural elements from various Islamic traditions and creates a flexible environment that celebrates the evolving role of mosque spaces in contemporary British society, embracing enjoyment, leisure, culture, and learning.

As part of a student group, my co-designer and I developed multiple iterations for the timber dome structure and conducted site analysis using Grasshopper to refine the design. I also compiled detailed technical reports outlining the construction and assembly processes.
